The tax area regarding ministers is one of the most complex, dynamic and least understood. I will pray that you be filled with peace, wisdom and understanding, but not before I remind you of the 3rd commandment – “Do not take the Lord’s name in vain” while preparing your income tax return or reading the IRS instructions.
It is also important to remember that while some are called to the “ministry of the gospel,” others are called to the “ministry of accounting.”
